University of Dundee

Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4HN, UK – 01382 383000

2nd Year student at this university. So far it's been a great adventure. Lovely people all around, definitely a unique experience.

Hoping to apply soon, and all I can say for now is the course I want to study there ticks most of the boxes in terms of quality and price πŸ€“. Only problem is Dundee is on the top left corner of the Britain, and I am from the bottom left corner of the island!! πŸ˜₯ - distance learning should do it and problem solved 😎

Launch Pad Studio

Donald's, 31 Butter's Loan, Dundee DD2 2TN, UK – 07463 787935

As Megan Long's gran, I am not directly involved with Launch Pad but get to hear about all the competitions and activities everyone is involved in. On the occasions I have been able to go a competition or the studio, the first thing that hits me is the sense of fun, inclusiveness and achievement that the staff and kids display and yes, some of the craziness as well. Having been involved in Megan's dance world since she started dancing years ago, I can honestly say I have never seen her more enthusiastic, happy and confident. Finally, the end of year shows that Laura plans and she and the kids work hard on are brilliant to watch. Well done everyone and well done Laura. An amazing teacher.

The launchpad studio is a great place for anyone to start out in dance. As soon as I joined I was welcomed by other dancers and Laura-the teacher- which settled me in well. It’s like a second home to me and I have definitely found the right dance school after searching for a couple years. Mum and I have found that my confidence has escalated since joining which was something I struggled with. I would recommend to everyone all ages! :)

SPORT KARATE EAST

127 South Rd, Dundee DD2 3EP, UK – 07935 935390

Our son started training with Sport Karate East in January 2016 and the change we have seen in him in 6 months is amazing. He is so confident and happy, so much more than I have ever experienced. Richards style of training is exceptional, the children are taught discipline and taught to work hard and never to give up. We were made so welcome and are now like part of the Sport Karate East family. Sport a Karate East was recommended to me by one of my sons school friends who has attended for seven years and it was definitely the right decision we took to take him along. I would thoroughly recommend Sport Karate East to anyone, absolutely amazing. We look forward to our son going from strength to strength.

Great coaches here , hard work pays off in this studio.

The Open University provides high-quality distance learning for people of all ages and educational backgrounds. The joy is that their courses not only can be completed at home but are modular and so make it possible to fit them around life's varying commitments! The OU also do research.

Generally it is quite extraordinary institution which many people thought would fail but actually has been an unqualified success since it was founded in 1969.
