Downfield is a wonderful parkland golf course which is extremely well maintained. The greens are in great shape and are consistent throughout. The staff is excellent and very welcoming. As a alternate to the links courses, this was a perfect choice on our Scottish golf trip.
Great course , pro shop very helpful worth a visit

I’ve been twice this opening week and it seems good. Nice, clean and open plan gym. Very similar- in term of equipment to Pure Gym. I think it might even be the same company tbh. Looking forward to spending more time here as the year progresses.
Very satisfied. Largest range and quantity of equipment I've seen in Dundee, minimal waiting even during peak hours. There's free classes too. Excellent value for money!

Very good gym if you're goals revolve around general fitness. Pros: Wide variety of cardio and resistance machines. Machines seem to be well maintained. Sizeable dumbbell area if you're into that. Kettlebell equipment available. Very friendly and helpful clientele. Cons: The area assigned for barbell training (free weights) is in my opinion disproportionately small, and therefore is disproportionately overcrowded. This leads to an inconvenient wait to use the racks, with an inconvenient line of people waiting for you to get through your sets when it's your turn. Although peak times at the gym can be busy, the barbell area is the only area where I found this an issue. Far from ideal. Generally speaking, I highly recommend this gym, as long as you don't do barbell work. While I was a member here, I had a lot of fun.
Price is great, equipment is really good and varied, and most of the folk there are nice enough. Showers are decent and clean. Downside is that the the gym is over-populated. I've been going for around 5 or 6 years now, and it was fine until a few years back. If you want to use free weights, squat racks or the deadlift platform, you're going to be disappointed. There's often a long wait, even at off-peak times (I once waited 20 minutes for a rack on a Sunday night at 10pm). My 1hr 30 workout often approaches 2 hours, as I have to wait for various pieces of equipment. It's got so bad lately that I'm trying a different gym. On the other hand, it's dead at 8am in the morning, so if you're a lark you're going to be fine. The other thing is that there's a _lot_ of cardio machines, so if you're just in for a quick cardio session, you'll be able to get it done without too much of a wait.

My son & I have been going to Lochee Swimming since he was knee high & he is almost a teenager now. The staff are great & the pool is perfect for a wee swim & a play. Changing rooms are cozy after your swim. Absolutely no complaints.☺
Well used facilities in Lochee by the the community, steam room sauna, swimming pool and gym, friendly staff and customers, vending machines at reception, always check in advance as service is limited on day ie health suite might have men only day, women only days, and swimming pool might have auqua arobicts on,

Really great pool and friendly staff. The first time I went they were really helpful, especially with directions to get to the pool. Since then they are always friendly enough too. The pool is always a nice temperature and all feels very clean. There are however 2 downsides. 1. The bathroom is quite smelly. 2. The centre is currently understaffed so you are best to phone up ahead to ensure the pool will be open (only on a Thursday I believe). There is only so much they can do about the staffing situation and I'd rather they closed the pool than let people swim when they could be endangered. Hopefully it does not last too long. This is why I have only taken 1 star and not 2.
Great swimming pool and clean facility. Never too busy which is great.

Possibly one of the oldest and smallest sports venues in Dundee, far away from city centre yet easy to reach and enough parking outside. Great for 5-a side and badmington.
Overall the facilities here are really good for the size of the sports centre; there's good sized indoor sports facilities for use by all ages and the hold some classes here. The staff are helpful and polite. The gym itself is small buy well stocked with machines and designed well; e.g. there are mirrors all over the gym but the equipment has been placed in such a way that you're never starting at your reflection whilst exercising unless you're intending to do so. Due to the decor of the facility it feels a little dated, and there are only shared changing rooms (5 shared changing rooms, and one "female only" shared changing room). But generally if you're looking for a local gym it does a great job at being that.

Great for kids of all ages to be introduced to basketball, and then play competitively in teams if they want to.
