Cinemas around Dundee

Cineworld Cinema - Dundee

Camperdown Leisure Park, Kingsway W, Dundee DD2 4TF, UK – 0871 200 2000

Unlimited card is a good deal if you like going to the cinema, otherwise, no cheaper than the competition. Good parking, although disabled spaces are away round a corner and seem to have been an afterthought - there is no signage indicating where they are as you drive in, and there are spaces closer to the front door in the main car park. Staff are always very helpful and friendly, and the Baskin & Robbins ice cream taking over from Ben & Jerry's has been an improvement, although I try not to get it too often!

Easy to park at. Decent films shown, comfortable seats. Way over priced food and drinks as always sadly though

University of Dundee

Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4HN, UK – 01382 383000

2nd Year student at this university. So far it's been a great adventure. Lovely people all around, definitely a unique experience.

Hoping to apply soon, and all I can say for now is the course I want to study there ticks most of the boxes in terms of quality and price 🤓. Only problem is Dundee is on the top left corner of the Britain, and I am from the bottom left corner of the island!! 😥 - distance learning should do it and problem solved 😎

Compact Disc Service

40-42 Brantwood Ave, Dundee DD3 6EW, UK – 01382 776595

Copying ? , CD's, DVD's, Blueray ? did all that years ago. Got bored and taught myself how to video and sound edit. Then DVD menu's. Then learned vid cam work, then bored again, did some educational DVDs for the NHS, filming actors, docs, nurses and service users. saved them around 100k over the years. Stopped doing it, docs were displaying a psychological issue, a superiority complex. Did psychology via MIT in the US, qualified to say that. Unbelievably A&E doctors were the worst. I have been considering writing a book but would need a ghost writer. Anyway CD"s ? if limited to that, doing regular multi copy would be needed. Noticed the focus is music, a hard game, especially now. Recording companies down all focus on finances and personal likes can interfere. The money has always been in pop and dance. Did have a lot of contacts when doing Hardcore and Trance, personally have done Defqon 1 a few times and did haunt Qlimax. still have worldwide English language radio contacts, the music industry is more than ever before about money. Popularity wise, would push Goa and Progressive Trance. Personally remixed remixes of the Neptunes. A fav is a remix of a remix of "Sympathy For The Devil". (The Brian Jones Rolling Stones Era). It can be heard on youtube and still gets radio play.
