Cinemas around Dundee

Cineworld Cinema - Dundee

Camperdown Leisure Park, Kingsway W, Dundee DD2 3SQ, UK – 0330 333 4444

We attended the 3D showing of Mission Impossible last night, and before the film started the adverts highlighted to look after the auditorium and keep it clean several times. I think we were the only persons in the cinema who were not munching popcorn, hotdogs or drinking. The noise of people eating around us was amazing and quite distracting. At the end of the film, the lights came on and everyone just dropped all their rubbish and walked away. The people sitting next to me had huge portions of popcorn and when the film finished they were still half full. These were dropped on the floor and kicked over with all the rest of their rubbish. We were absolutely appalled at the rubbish left behind. Apart from that the film was excellent and we enjoyed our time at Cineworld.

Have generally had good experiences at this multiplex cinema. Obtaining tickets via self service or the desk is fuss free. I like that most of the screens are large, so you'll likely get the "big cinema" experience no matter which screen your movie is showing on. Only real negative is the designated seating, which can be bothersome if others don't conform to the system, and decide to sit in your seat. That's not too common though.
